Taking Candy Part #2.

Oh man, this has been a rollercoaster of a season. First, Terrell Owens' alleged “overdose”, then his finger operation and to make things worse a brand spanking new QB. At least we got a top rated wide receiver and a soon to be top rated QB out of this ride.

We had that game against the stupid Redskins. Romo played like a star, but our special team’s line just could not hold for a field goal. Terrell Owens 75 yard drop was heart breaking, to say the least. Oh well, the Red’s needed this game to save their season. The worse thing is that they did it without Santana Ross. Oh well, consider it a early christmas gift. Its ok, tomorrow is another day and we shall overcome.

This week we are playing the Arizona Cardinals and this should be a sure win. Considering they are only 1-7 for the season. It will be like taking candy from a baby. I have to admit that I am a fan of Matt Leinart (or any USC product for that matter) and their young receivers, but I love my cowboys.

I am tired of reading about how bad Terrell Owens is and how selfish he is, but the bottom line is that he is a top rated WR and he has scored six TDs, one shy of the NFC lead. So shut it. But I sure do love how our QB controversy has been laid to rest, Romo is here to stay. He was spectacular last weekend.

The good news is that we are only .500 for this season, it can be lot worse. Hell, at least we are not like the defending National Champions with a record of 2-6. Also, NFC east is sill a battle; the Giants have a tough couple of games ahead. We will make the playoffs...

A New Circus is Back in Town; Led by T.R. and T.O.

New Best Friends.

Wow, what a disappointing defeat against the Giants. We had a chance to take the lead right before the half, but the old Bledsoe choked again. But that was the best thing that has ever happened to the Cowboys. Just one word ROMO.
Tony Romo looked like a veteran, he was poised and confident against the Panthers. I loved his mobility, as a Cowboy fan, I have forgotten how important it is to have a mobile QB. Romo proved himself yesterday; 270 yards with only one interception. That was hell of a game for a guy who never started a game. The best thing about it was the fact that it was a Monday night game, now the entire world will know “Romo” and the Cowboys.
My man Terrell Owens had a huge game, 100+ yard game. It seems like Romo and T.O are on the same page. But I kind of got the feeling that Terry Glenn is feeling left out. Lets face it, every QB has their go to man, and T.O is Romo’s man. Romo also did a great job spreading the ball around, Jason Whitten got his first TD of the season. He was long over due. I love the way things are going in Dallas.
It was a team act yesterday. Everyone got into act; Julies Jones almost had a 100 yard rushing day, Roy Williams has a pick, Marian Barber had 49 yards and 2 TDs and most importantly the offensive line held their own. I don’t know if they are blocking better or if Romo is releasing the ball earlier, but what ever it is I loved it.
On a side note, I was really impressed with Rookie Richard Marshall from Fresno State. He was playing like a veteran. I see a fruitful future for him in the NFL. Also, I heard that Keyshawn Johnson was talking crap about the Cowboys the night before during a team meeting; he allegedly told the team that “the circus is in town” and that they need to send the freaks back home with a lot. Well guess what Keyshawn the circus did come to your town and took you and your whole dame team on a ride. It's ok Keyshawn don’t be bitter, you are still a ok player, it just that T.O. is better than you. There is a reason why you get bounced around so often.

Who's next?
The 2-5, Washington Redskins. That’s shouldn’t be too hard. We shouldn’t even have to play, just give us another “W” and give the Redskins another “L”. They are having QB controversies of their own. It may be time for old man Mark Brunell to step down. Hang in there Redskins fans; we have been there too and it will get better.

COWBOYS will lead the NFC East & GIANTS WHO?

BIGGER THEY ARE, HARDER THEY FALL.

This Monday, October 23, 2006, night game against the Giants is a crucial game for the Cowboys. It is rare for this type of season defining game to be presented this early in the season. Especially since the Philadelphia Eagles are in a 2 game losing strike; which dropped them to number 3 in standings. The last thing any team in the NFC East wants is to be ranked next to the sorry Redskins. Tonight’s winner will lead the conference with a 4-2 record and it’s going to be the Cowboys. This is also a revenge game for us; the Giants are the ones that shattered our playoff dreams last season. But this is a new season and a new team. We have new a weapon- T.O.
The New York Giant’s should be 1-4, instead of 3-2. They were very fortunate to win against Philly in overtime and they barely came off with a miraculous win against the Falcons and my boy, Vick. Their luck will change tonight against the Cowboys. The Giants are not good enough to lead the NFC East; baby Manning is good but not good enough. His time will come. Their is luck is running out.
Our offensive line needs to give Drew Bledsoe more time to throw the ball. By now, I am sure, the Giants’ have already studied Philly’s defense strategy and watched all the film from two weeks ago. Tonight will be a true test for our offensive line. If our line can hold it will be a big game for my man, Terrell Owens.
I have to be honest, I do fear the Giants’ Defensive line up front. They have a huge defensive line; Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora are one of the best in the league. But the good news it they have a weak secondary, which means a big game for Terry Glenn and Terrell Owens.
I am excited, it will be great game for all NFL and Cowboy fans alike. Enjoy.

Terrell Owens has a Big Game, as predicted.

What Did I Tell You? Do I know my Cowboys or What?

My predictions for Sunday's gamer were on the mark. Terrell Owens had an amazing game this weekend; 45 yards and 3 TD. It doesn’t get any better than that. He was the second top receiver in the NFL this weekend, next to T. Holt of the Rams. The most impressive TD, in my opinion, was the one he caught after a defensive pass interference call. HE IS A BALLER IN EVERY SENCE OF THE WORD.
Drew Bledsoe went 17 of 28 for 168 yards with no turnover, which was refreshing after the Philly game. He also threw the first 2 TD to Owens. It was also nice to see Tony Romo getting a some action for the first time in the regular season. He even got TD pass to T.O. Julies Jones also had 100+ yards day. Overall, it was a good day in Dallas.
It got better, when the Eagles lost. The only down fall this weekend was that the New York Giants got a lucky win over the Falcons. Stupid Giants, I hate them. In my opinion the Cowboys should be number 2 in the conference, not the Giants. Overall, every team in our conference lost except for the Giants and the Cowboys. I can’t wait until tonight, I predict Matt Leinart to have a big game against the Bears. But I have a feeling Grossman and the Bears to have a bigger game. We Shall See. LONG LIVE THE COWBOYS & DEATH TO THE EAGLES AND THE GIANTS :) !!

It's LIke Taking Candy From a Baby :)

A Sure Win This Week for the Cowboys against the Texans- “It's Like Taking Candy From a Baby-”

This up coming Sunday, October 15, 2006, we are playing the Houston Texans, who are 1-3 and are still getting over choosing Mario Williams over Reggie Bush. The one of the biggest mistakes in the NFL's history. Any way, thats a whole another story.
This is going to be an easy victory for the Cowboys, especially in Dallas. Houston will feel the brunt of our frustration from last week. Tell you the truth, Texans are the perfect whipping boy at a time like this.
I am expecting a huge game from my boy Terrell Owens. He is going to have an over 100 yard game and at least twoTD this week, GUARANTEED. I am sure T.O and the rest of the offensive line have watched last week’s films and have fixed the small glitch. I have read that Drew was back to his normal self this week in practice. This is a good sign for us. I am still a true believer that Drew Bledsoe is still a great QB and that he still can compete with the young guns in the league.
I expect our defense to back with vengeance this week against David Carr and the rest of the Texan offense. I especially look forward to Roy Williams to make a strong start. I was a bit disappointed based on his performance, considering how he ripped the Eagles at the end of last season by intercepting McNabb at the end of the game. I also hope the rookie safety Pat Watkins has a good game. Poor kid a horrible game. Hewas burned on a 60-yard pass to L.J Smith, failed to tackle Baskett on an 87-yard touchdown pass, and was caught day dreaming on a 40-yard flea-flicker touchdown for Reggie Brown. I think he is jeopardy if he doesn’t fly right this week.
BYE THE WAY I HOPE REGGIE BUSH PUTS A HURTING ON THE EAGLES THIS WEEK.

What Happened to the Cowboys and T.O on Sunday, October 8th?

NOTHING. Well the simple answer is that he was double covered the entire game. This explains why he only had 3 receptions for 45 yards. The entire nation realizes that Terrell Owens is a baller. In my opinion he is one of the best wide receivers in the game; 6-3 and two hundred twenty four pounds receiver who can block is hard to come around. I still stand behind Jerry Jones and Bill Parcells’ decision to sign TO. If there is any coach who can tame TO, it’s Bill. But I do question their decision not to get TO involved in the game, earlier than the 3rd quarter.
This game was not a fair match for the Cowboys. Our offensive line was horrible. Granted the Philly “D” brought their A game on Sunday, but every thing went wrong for us. Hell, even our punter screwed up. I blamed the loss on the offensive line and our passive play selection.
Oh well, every team is entitled to a bad game once in a while. But why did it have to happen with the Eagles. They just got LUCKY. Let’s see how it goes December 25. Overall, the Cowboys are a better team. We have better receivers, quarterback and most importantly a better defensive back.
After Sunday’s game I started to wonder whether it was time to bench Drew Bledose and activate Tony Romo. But I think it is kind of unfair for Drew to doubt him this early in the season and plus it was the O lines fault. So let’s give him a break. He is still a big time QB with a rocket arm. Plus it’s too early to start Romo, he has no experience in the NFL.
